Radon Mitigation System Warranty

Limited 5-Year Warranty of Your Radon Mitigation System

Safe Check Radon Services, LLC warrants that our radon mitigation systems shall be free of installation and manufacturer defects for a period of 5 years after the date of installation and will provide labor and materials to repair any installation and manufacturer defects at no additional cost during the warranty period.

Safe Check Radon Services further warrants that the radon mitigation system will maintain radon gas levels at or below the EPA target of 4.0 pico-curies per liter (pCi/L) so long as the system is not subjected to stresses or uses for which it was not designed and provided that no additions, amendments, or alterations are made to the system itself, or the foundation of the structure for which it was designed.

If in the event that radon levels exceed 4.0 pCi/L during the warranty period, Safe Check Radon will provide additional labor and materials to repair the system. In accepting the installation of the radon mitigation system by making final payment, the owner and/or future owner’s agrees to perform radon testing yearly to confirm the proper function of the radon system.  Safe Check Radon is not liable for health effects or any other damages in the event that the mitigation system has malfunctioned and radon levels exceed 4.0 pCi/L as many factors can contribute to system malfunction which can only be known by performing annual radon tests to confirm proper function.

This warranty is fully transferable and applicable to the current or future owner’s of the property ​where our mitigation system has been installed.
